Public meeting Nov. 3 for Wabash Community Centre

The Angler option for the site layout was chosen through previous consultations. The next round of consultations will refine the design plan.

The City has announced the start of the next round of public consultations for the forthcoming Wabash Community Recreation Centre at Sorauren Park. An online public meeting is scheduled for November 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and a new online survey will also begin November 3.

This round of consultations will focus on a draft design for the new centre, now that a general site layout, “The Angler” option, has been chosen through previous consultations. The City and its design consultants, Diamond Schmitt Architects, will present a draft design and seek community feedback.

Information for the online meeting and the survey will be posted on the City’s Wabash Community Centre project web page at toronto.ca/WabashCRC. You can also sign up for project updates from the City at that page.

And you can get project news by following @SoraurenPark on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, or receiving the park newsletter from Friends of Sorauren Park.
